ICE Document Printing Tip
Insist on printing your own ICE Stickers and Outdoor Poster for your jobsites or special events?  No problem.  Due to advances in paper and printing technology you can make durable, tear resistant, weather resistant creations yourself if you so choose!

There are a variety of durable and weather resistant papers or vinyl plastic impregnated sheets you can use to create longer lasting jobsite documents or stickers.  If your Tool Box Talks are making the rounds amongst dirty rough hands or busy workrooms....no problem!  You can make these up and reuse them for the next crew or next month if need be.  You can wipe them clean.  They survive incidental exposure to moisture, fluids and crud that would destroy normal paper products.

Pictured above are a couple of examples of what you can buy to make this happen.  If you don't need that many or only want to see what it is like...stop out to the local Staples Store and have them print something up for you - $1.49 per page.  We will experiment more and let you know how it works out!

UPDATE ON THIS IDEA:

If you print out your personal Emergency Info Form on one of these papers you can be assured it will not be destroyed if exposed to tearing forces or incidental moisture or fluids......and you can fold it.

Planning on creating and then printing your spreadsheet with all your data and emergency life continuity info on it?  This would be a good use for the paper (we keep calling it paper).

If you are hiking and want to print out a topo map segment that will not fall apart....use this material again.  Also, don't forget to use a waterproof writing instrument like a Fischer Space Pen!

Going to leave a copy of your Emergency Action Plan onsite?  Use this method so it will indeed be onsite and not buried in a job trailer somewhere!
