Designed by a Safety Professional with an EMS/Law Enforcement background in 2005, the ICE4SAFETY™ image
has rapidly come to be recognized internationally as a symbol of personal preparedness.
Using
ICE as a simple tool to harmonize the many disciplines of preparedness just makes good common sense. Communities
and organizations have recognized this and have begun to use the freely shared tools located here to promote the
concept in their own towns and cities. It is a very simple concept - and simple works best when chaos ensues.
This is a DIY (Do it Yourself) website not just for large organizations but for anyone that recognizes
the need to help themselves, loved ones and their neighbors prepare and improve their ability to survive emergencies. There
are two web blogs and over 100 articles to date on how to take preparedness to another level.
ICE4SAFETY™ has been developed as a public service and currently receives no public or private financial
assistance. Anyone is free to utilize the tools contained herein for non-commercial purposes related to the
promotion and application of emergency planning.
